• NEW - June 2011 -  Successful result presentation at Airbus

    On June 22nd, the HUMAN project has been successfully concluded with a symposium at Airbus, Toulouse. The symposium was well-attended by representatives from Airbus and other companies from aviation. During the day, the project partners gave an overview of the project results and the added value for the design and development process of safer cockpit systems.

    We would like to invite you to the HUMAN Project Result Presentation on June 22nd 2011. This final event of the HUMAN project will take place in Toulouse, France.   • January 2011 - The HUMAN project will be presented at the AeroDays 2011 in Madrid. For more information on the AeroDays, see www.aerodays2011.org.
  • November 2010 - The experiments of the second cycle have been finished. The data analysis of the experiments has started.
  • August 9th, 2010 - The second cycle of experiments has started!
  • June 7th, 2010 - From June 30th - July 2nd, 2010, HUMAN co-organizes the HMAT workshop in Belgirate, Italy. Several HUMAN papers will be presented.
  • May 28th, 2010 - The paper Developing a Model of Cognitive Lockup for User Interface Engineering by Tina Mioch, Rosemarijn Looije, and Mark Neerincx has been accepted as a poster presentation at the ICCM 2010, and inclusion in the proceedings.
  • January 4th, 2010 - The paper Capability Test for a Digital Cognitive Flight Crew Model by Andreas Luedtke, Jan-Patrick Osterloh and Tina Mioch has been accepted to the 3rd Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE) International Conference 2010 in Miami, Florida. The conference will take place from 17-20 July 2010.
  • December 23rd, 2009 - The experiments on the physical simulation platform of the first cycle have been completed. We can now start with the data analysis!
  • November 23rd, 2009 - We announce the first Workshop for Human Modelling in Assisted Transportation will be held, co-organized by the HUMAN project, on June 30th-July 2nd 2010 in Belgirate, Italy. For the call of paper, please have a look at www.hmat-ws.eu.
  • September 9th, 2009 - We announce that Andreas Lüdtke will be keynote speaker at the HESSD 2009 in Brussels.
  • September 9th, 2009 - At the HESSD 2009 in Brussels, a paper will be presented based on work done in the HUMAN project: “Cognitive Modelling of Pilot Errors and Error Recovery in Flight Management Tasks” by Andreas Lüdtke, Jan-Patrick Osterloh, Tina Mioch, Frank Rister and Rosemarijn Looije.  
  • August 20th, 2009 - The new deliverables on the physical simulation platform (D2.2), the data analysis techniques and tools (D2.6) and the virtual simulation platform (D3.3) are now available
  • August 4th, 2009 - The new deliverable on the detailed experimental design for the first experimental cycle is now available (D4.1)
  • July 23rd, 2009 - Paper presentation at the HCI09 in San Diego: Modeling Pilot and Driver Behavior for Human Error Simulation, by Andreas Lüdtke and Jan-Patrick Osterloh
